Companionship

Companionship can take on a lot of different forms. Sometimes it’s nice to just sit quietly, alone, but other times it’s nice to enjoy the day with a friend, or getting to know people; hearing their stories, learning about their life experiences and sharing in their interests. Some of your interests might include reading, music, games, baking, computers or a joy of the outdoors . . . A companion can take a walk, play a game, bake a batch of cookies or enjoy a pretty piece of music with you. They can help with correspondence if you need it, tend to the plants, or make appointments to the doctor, vet or spa. Sometimes it’s important to have a companion come by when a stranger is at your home, such as a utility workman, gardener, or repairman.
